Every Monday Isaiah’s teacher assigns a poem for him to read. This week he read “Homework, Oh, Homework!” I absolutely loved it. Homework can be a battle sometimes so it was nice to see him enjoy his reading this time.
When he gets his weekly poem at school the students are instructed to paste it inside their journal. They can draw pictures of what their poem is about also. Here is what he brought home 🙂
Left:
Copy of the poem with a crazy yelling kid next to it.
Right:
“I hate yor dum face” says the giant kid with a ripped homework sheet in his hand. Notice the fiery furnace in the bottom right where the homework will ultimately be destroyed!
