Sitting at my desk I was desperately trying to complete a report that was fairly difficult. I started a new position at work and I’m learning/working so it’s taking me longer to get through assignments.
While pulling my hair out on this alone Aaron asked me to fix “Abby”. Abby is a stuffed…well used to be stuffed…bunny rabbit. Isaiah tried to throw it in the trash earlier because the stuffing was spewing out of its neck.
I needed a break anyway so I got out my sewing supplies and went to work. I could barely see due to terrible lighting in our bedroom. On top of that I heard “That’s What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction blaring out of the master bathroom. Isaiah was belting out the boy band lyrics and I was quickly developing a massive headache.
My husband was busy helping Aaron beat a new level on his TMNT Legends game. Despite the distractions I’m happy to announce that Abby’s surgery went well and I feel like she has a few more years left in her now…:)
So the boys have gone to bed but the volume in this room is still ridiculous. Imagine…a phone that is so loud you might think you’ve suddenly transported to the Regal Cinema down the street.
This is my husband’s phone. He probably has it turned up only a few notches but I promise every time he plays a video I want to throw this laptop on the floor.
(BANGING SOUNDS!! SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING METAL…MAYBE A SPOON…HITTING TRASHCANS IN THE STREET)
Husband: Hey! What does this sound like?
Me: I don’t know. Somebody hitting a trashcan…with a spoon???
Husband. Nope. Look at this.
He shows me a video of a Cockatoo banging its beak on the bottom of a frying pan or maybe it was a pot…I don’t know.
Well- that’s all for now. I’m going to bed. Back to work/school bright and early tomorrow 🙂
Hope you all had a lovely Labor Day! Good night!

Lol…I, too, have a low tolerance for noise. The only time it’s quiet in my house is between the hours of 3 and 6 a.m. 😀
