Sitting at my desk I was desperately trying to complete a report that was fairly difficult. I started a new position at work and I’m learning/working so it’s taking me longer to get through assignments.
While pulling my hair out on this alone Aaron asked me to fix “Abby”. Abby is a stuffed…well used to be stuffed…bunny rabbit. Isaiah tried to throw it in the trash earlier because the stuffing was spewing out of its neck. Continue reading →
It is easy to find books on improving communication within a marriage. I’ve read a TON of books on becoming a better wife, better mom, etc. but it wasn’t until a friend let me borrow this book that I made some serious progress.
The analogy is so simple but it opened my eyes to more of who men are in general. They really just don’t THINK!

The outer layer of my cage was an assortment of baskets. The laundry needed to be done and I was not motivated.
Me: “Hey babe…you know what would be so great right now?”
Me: “Something sweet…how about a hot fudge ice cream sundae from Culvers?”
Motivation = ice cream Culvers = closes in 45 minutes
Last night my husband asked me to take down notes for a song he’s learning on the piano. He plays by ear. He listened to “Healing” by Richard Smallwood on YouTube and called out the notes for each part.
After church he went to find my notes so he could practice.
